Meandgoliath are one of the most exciting bands in the UK. In a time where screamo bands are all doing pretty much the same thing, it is very refreshing to come across a band as original and aggressive as this one. They played CMAR last year and have just released a 10''. If you can get your hands on it, do so! When it goes OOP I'll rip it for here. This is their demo from 2007. Essential listening whether you like screamo or not.

DEERS!-Demo

For those of you that know Tracey (aka only person with a vagina in the skramz forum that is ~cool~), I probably wouldn't know this band if it wasn't of her. I'm pretty sure she dated one of the boys in this band too- pr0pz. Anyways, DEERS! comes from CA, believe it or not, and is one of those bands that is keepin' it skramz, minus the boring part that comes with the genre. They have a hell of a drummer and vocals that will piss of your mom/everyone around you even more when they hear you're blasting this.

Mesa Verde play a pretty crucial brand of screamo with plenty of instrumental passages and plenty of angry. A few months after forming, they played their debut show supporting Yage (if that means anything to you). Coming from someone who doesn't really enjoy the majority of screamo, this band are well worth the time of day and their shows are always a lot of fun!
